£7,500 off, taken straight off your quote
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme pays £7,500 towards an air source heat pump in England and Wales. You never handle the paperwork and you never pay the money out — it is applied for on your behalf and deducted from your invoice. There is 0% VAT on the installation too, until March 2027.
Off the gas grid on oil or LPG? The grant rose to £9,000 in July 2026 and runs until 31 March 2027.
Why we go on about SCOP
SCOP is the number that decides what your heat pump costs to run — the ratio of heat delivered to electricity used, across a whole year. A system running at 3.8 costs roughly a third less to run than the same unit at 2.8. Same house, same weather, same electricity price.
It is designed, not bought
SCOP is set by design, not by the badge on the box. Flow temperature, emitter sizing and commissioning matter far more. We size every radiator in the house before we quote.

Twenty-five years between us, and the lessons that mattered came from going back to systems and finding out what they achieved in January — not from a datasheet.

We are proud of what we install
Anyone can bolt a heat pump to a wall. Making one run beautifully in a Midlands house in February takes a survey done properly, a design that respects the radiators you already have, and commissioning that does not get rushed on the last afternoon.
That is the work we want to be judged on. If a heat pump is not right for your property, we will tell you at the survey rather than sell you one.
How it works
1. Free survey
We measure every room and radiator, check pipework, cylinder space and your supply. Around two hours, no obligation.
2. Design and quote
Written design with heat loss figures, emitter schedule, flow temperature and projected running costs. Grant deducted.
3. Installation
Typically two to four days. We handle the grant application, DNO notification and building control.
4. Commissioning
Balanced, set up and explained properly. Then annual servicing to keep it performing.
